The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor review

The third part in the mummies movie squel is out in theatres the stakes are high lets see how the movie does bussiness. The earlier two parts were a big hit. Involving even WWE star Dawn The Rock Johnson.

Many a great trilogy have been hampered by weak, disjointed third instalments: The Godfather, Back to the Future and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End immediately come to mind. The same proves true for Mummy III: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. But, the thing is, the Mummy, despite its commercial success, was never a good series to begin with.

Mummy III is an unsatisfying extension of a trite, big budget Hollywood Frankenstein, a monster that now seems to have life of its own. Fans of the first two will likely enjoy it. But if you found the first two instalments obnoxious, beware. Tomb of the Dragon Emperor has all the imperfections of previous efforts, but with an even less interesting and feasible storyline.

Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na  (2008) review

Our story begins at the airport. With a story.

When Rotlu, Jiggy, Bombs and Shaleen offer to tell Mala the tale of Jai and Aditi-a match made in the pastry shop of heaven - Mala is convinced that she is in for yet another clichéd love story with joys and sorrows, happiness and heartbreak, laughter and songs, fights… and a climax at the airport.

And indeed, Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na is all of that. And more!

Meet Jai Singh Rathore ('Rats'), the most non-violent Rajput either side of the Aravallis. And meet, if you dare, the violent and passionate Aditi Mahant ('Meow'). Whatever you do, do not pick a fight with her. She scratches. And abuses. If you do get into a scrap, take cover till Jai arrives, as he alone can calm our snarling wildcat.

love story 2050 priyanka harman baweja

Stepping out of the theatre after watching a show of Love Story 2050, I felt as if I had actually travelled through time. The three hours inside the dark room seemed like spending a few years of my life. As the end credits rolled, I wondered if I had actually seen two films back to back. And it's this incoherence between the two halves of the film that is Love Story 2050's biggest weakness.
